Cabin Fever

 i have completely changed my room, except for the colors. i had this long shelf on one wall that housed all my collectors items, and in the process of changing my room, all that stuff including the shelf. so my dad cut the shelf in half and i nicely decorated one shelf, but had no idea what to do with the top shelf. so i decided to put pictures in frames. i have had this picture just in my room for years, and was one of the ones to make the arrangement of pictures on my shelf! 3.28.11

 this is the train map for atlanta. way different from the maps in ny huh? i took the train here for the first time in like a year, and i was almost lost in the simplicity of this rail line. time for an upgrade? i'd say so! 3.29.11

 the weather has really been the best since i have been home. there are random days when its kinda cold, but nothing compared to the winter i experienced up north. i looked up an this cloud looked like a shoe bottom or the bottom of an iron or somethin... lol:) 3.30.11

 another day jus enjoying the lovely weather (and taking my dog for a walk) flowers outside my house... 3.31.11

 so i saw a pair of shoes that i loved. i think about them all the time. then while strolling thru this shoe website, i saw the same exact shoes that i wanted. now the ones i wanted were $30. these, chinese laundry=$200+! still nice to look at! 4.1.11

 ahhh, mani/pedis, then margaritas and mexican<3 a margarita after a nice saturday out with mom dukes! 4.2.11

 part 2 of saturday! we went out dancing, and we were sitting at this table and as the night went on, our table got covered in drinks! this is the last picture i shot before we left! 4.2.11

sunday afternoon, spring break. the one in the yellow is my oldest niece, and i decided i wanted her for a few days! so i trekked over to my sisters house and picked her up! todays wednesday, and shes still here! lol, gotta love her! 4.3.11

 now that spring time is here, everything is all green again! the pollen is outrageous, but the colors are perfect! 4.4.11

 i decided to take my niece out for lunch, and who else do we run into at ihop, but my parents! so we joined them for lunch. the problem here was, the straw the waitress gave me was ripped, therefore i couldnt drink thru it. so i asked for another one, and the waitress brought me 2 more. all ripped. smh... so i stuck em all in my cup hoping to get my sprite thru any of the straws! 4.5.11

last, but not least. i love these little helicopter leave things. they are allllll over the place this time of year! i have no idea where they fall from, but i jus love the way they look falling from the sky! 4.6.11

Good Fortunes, Huge Bugs, and Birthday Parties.

 so the whole separation from mr. big has hit me kinda hard, an my best friend has been right by my side saying these exact words. i went to lunch with my mom, and this was inside my fortune cookie. 3.27.11

 my daddys 55th birthday:) i am totally a daddys girl! i wrote this on the napkins he stole from the w downtown after his pre bday celebration! happy birthday daddy! 3.26.11

 i love shoes. period. and these are probably my favorite pair. super tall, shiny, and sexy! 3.25.11

 i have been stuck in the house since i got back from ny, so i jumped up as soon as my cousin called me an asked me to take a ride to n. ga with him. anything to get out the house. he was goin to canton ga to pick up an old school bike he was buying from a guy thru craigslist, and as they were checking out the bike, i snapped this picture:) 3.24.11

o, i am back in the south! (i snapped this right before my cousin called me to take a ride with him) i was standing on my deck, and when i turned around i saw this monster on the wall. idk what kind of bug it is, but it is huge! 3.24.11

another reason to get out the house. my dad went to home depot, so i went with him out of pure boredom. as he was trying to decide on a ladder, i snapped this shot of the wood, jus a funky way to look at everyday objects:) and a frog made out of paper! 3.22.11

Spring:)

i was out and about with my dad, and we stopped by our cousins tire shop, and this is what i saw! i just thought it was neat the way all the tires were stacked, not just one on top of the other:) someone had a lot of extra time on their hands!! 3.18.11

i spent the afternoon at centennial park with my sister and my nieces, and on our way home i looked at the sky, and lo and behold, a penis. hahahahaha! penis in the sky! me and my sister thought it was so funny, that even while she was driving she had to take a picture of it! so here's my picture, penis cloud! 3.19.11

another day at the park with my nieces, but this time it was for a bday party, and it wasn't 75 degrees, it was more like 65-_- needless to say, this glass of wine was much needed. 3.20.11

today i spent the whole day with my mommy! and after shopping for about 4 hours, she called my dad and said, "i need a presidente in the freezer." lol, so here is her ice cold presidente. 3.21.11

for some reason, i have a new found love for oriental food. and its just not the same if you don't eat with chopsticks! 3.22.11

Home Sweet Home

birthday girl! she was bornlike 3 months premature and here she is on her 9th birthday!! her golden birthday! Miss Kaylah Jones, my 2nd niece:) Happy 9th Birthday Kaylah! 3.9.11

new camera:) this looks exactly like a picture i took at piedmont park like 2 years ago after a snow storm! i love the color of the flowers and i think the flowers just look funny the way they grow up! pretty regardless! 3.10.11

"i want vans just like yours!" is what my niece said she wanted for her bday! i have the classic all black with no laces, so i went in search of them, and you wouldn't believe that the kid size vans are the same price as the adult size! i was not about to pay over $40 for shoes for a 9 year old, so i kept looking, and found these! much cuter for a 9 year old, and cheaper too! she was so excited when she opened up her presents:) 3.11.11

i have a pair of glittery gold heels, but when i saw these, i stopped for a minute, maybe shoe designers are on glitter overload! i think almost every shoe style comes with glitter today! "we're not in kansas anymore toto!" lol, 3.12.11

this is a candle holder that had that flower glued to the outside, so cute, spring-like! so i lit a candle one day, and the flower melted off-_- so this is the flower Inside the candle holder now! 3.14.11

i got this watch in pa at the casino, i was so excited cuz its all cute and i thought i would be original. then i got back to atl, and i swear 75% of females have either the same watch or one very similar! so now, not only am i not original, but i have the loudest watch i think i've ever owned... u can seriously hear the second-clicker ticking from like down the street! 3.15.11

it has arrived! i am now the proud owner of an iphone 4!! i literally heard the fedex truck as soon as he pulled into the complex! i was soo excited! i caught a lot of negative feed back from a bunch of ppl that don't even have the phone! haters:) 3.17.11
