Good Fortunes, Huge Bugs, and Birthday Parties.

 so the whole separation from mr. big has hit me kinda hard, an my best friend has been right by my side saying these exact words. i went to lunch with my mom, and this was inside my fortune cookie. 3.27.11

 my daddys 55th birthday:) i am totally a daddys girl! i wrote this on the napkins he stole from the w downtown after his pre bday celebration! happy birthday daddy! 3.26.11

 i love shoes. period. and these are probably my favorite pair. super tall, shiny, and sexy! 3.25.11

 i have been stuck in the house since i got back from ny, so i jumped up as soon as my cousin called me an asked me to take a ride to n. ga with him. anything to get out the house. he was goin to canton ga to pick up an old school bike he was buying from a guy thru craigslist, and as they were checking out the bike, i snapped this picture:) 3.24.11

o, i am back in the south! (i snapped this right before my cousin called me to take a ride with him) i was standing on my deck, and when i turned around i saw this monster on the wall. idk what kind of bug it is, but it is huge! 3.24.11

another reason to get out the house. my dad went to home depot, so i went with him out of pure boredom. as he was trying to decide on a ladder, i snapped this shot of the wood, jus a funky way to look at everyday objects:) and a frog made out of paper! 3.22.11

Spring:)

i was out and about with my dad, and we stopped by our cousins tire shop, and this is what i saw! i just thought it was neat the way all the tires were stacked, not just one on top of the other:) someone had a lot of extra time on their hands!! 3.18.11

i spent the afternoon at centennial park with my sister and my nieces, and on our way home i looked at the sky, and lo and behold, a penis. hahahahaha! penis in the sky! me and my sister thought it was so funny, that even while she was driving she had to take a picture of it! so here's my picture, penis cloud! 3.19.11

another day at the park with my nieces, but this time it was for a bday party, and it wasn't 75 degrees, it was more like 65-_- needless to say, this glass of wine was much needed. 3.20.11

today i spent the whole day with my mommy! and after shopping for about 4 hours, she called my dad and said, "i need a presidente in the freezer." lol, so here is her ice cold presidente. 3.21.11

for some reason, i have a new found love for oriental food. and its just not the same if you don't eat with chopsticks! 3.22.11

Home Sweet Home

birthday girl! she was bornlike 3 months premature and here she is on her 9th birthday!! her golden birthday! Miss Kaylah Jones, my 2nd niece:) Happy 9th Birthday Kaylah! 3.9.11

new camera:) this looks exactly like a picture i took at piedmont park like 2 years ago after a snow storm! i love the color of the flowers and i think the flowers just look funny the way they grow up! pretty regardless! 3.10.11

"i want vans just like yours!" is what my niece said she wanted for her bday! i have the classic all black with no laces, so i went in search of them, and you wouldn't believe that the kid size vans are the same price as the adult size! i was not about to pay over $40 for shoes for a 9 year old, so i kept looking, and found these! much cuter for a 9 year old, and cheaper too! she was so excited when she opened up her presents:) 3.11.11

i have a pair of glittery gold heels, but when i saw these, i stopped for a minute, maybe shoe designers are on glitter overload! i think almost every shoe style comes with glitter today! "we're not in kansas anymore toto!" lol, 3.12.11

this is a candle holder that had that flower glued to the outside, so cute, spring-like! so i lit a candle one day, and the flower melted off-_- so this is the flower Inside the candle holder now! 3.14.11

i got this watch in pa at the casino, i was so excited cuz its all cute and i thought i would be original. then i got back to atl, and i swear 75% of females have either the same watch or one very similar! so now, not only am i not original, but i have the loudest watch i think i've ever owned... u can seriously hear the second-clicker ticking from like down the street! 3.15.11

it has arrived! i am now the proud owner of an iphone 4!! i literally heard the fedex truck as soon as he pulled into the complex! i was soo excited! i caught a lot of negative feed back from a bunch of ppl that don't even have the phone! haters:) 3.17.11

Spring Cleaning

this is my dad's most prized possession, his platano tree! its a little sad looking now cuz of the weather, but give him 3 months, and this tree will look straight from Santo Domingo! 3.4.11

i went to target for some personal items, and i thought. " i need some more life in my room!" my walls are purple, as u see here, and i got rid of my closet doors to hang curtains instead, but i wanted something else! so i saw this cute wall decoration, and here is the end product! 3.5.11

when i got back to atl from new york, the weather was blissful! then.... everything changed! its not as cold as the north, but i wish i could have the warm weather back:/ 3.6.11

i still don't understand the grey line under the pictures... but this is a candle holder, and i just love the "broken glass" look. i always wonder how they make it look broken without it really being broken!! hehe! 3.7.11

i am in the process of "spring cleaning" in my room, getting rid of all this old stuff to make room for all the new stuff i got in ny, and i found this, among a lot of other olllld stuff, and it brought back so many memories! Independence Day 2004! 3.8.11

Better Late then Never

we have been living in this house for about 6 years now, and we have redone pretty much the whole house, except for the carpet in the upstairs bedrooms. so finally we are changing the carpet! so me and my dad went to north ga to a wholesale carpet place, and i snapped this shot. its a huge roll of carpet that i thought just looked crazy! 3.3.11

my nikki! this is my little doggie! i missed her so much while i was gone! its crazy the effect that pets have on your life! we have had her for about 9 years now! so her clock is ticking, i may have to find a replacement soon:( 3.2.11

 cracker barrel. one year the family went to tennessee for a wedding. the morning after we all went to have breakfast at cracker barrel, and ever since then, this is like my dad's fave spot to eat at. so this is the first place i went when i made it back to the south! 3.1.11

 so this is the real end of my journey. one of the hardest decisions i ever had to make was to come back home. i fought so hard to be in new york, and it kills me that it didn't work out the way i planned. so i'm back at square one, and i'll try the big city again another time! 2.28.11

 my dad loves the casinos! so on the drive back home, we stopped in his favorite casino in pa. i played $40 on this same machine and lost it all, so i went shopping in the casino gift shop. when i got back to where my dad was playing, he had put some money into the machine i was playing, and this is what i saw; $1148.25. the same exact machine!! my dad is one lucky fellow!! 2.27.11

i went out on one last date in the big city to a very NY restaurant, and this is how they brought our bill to us! so cute, and hands down, one of the best dates i have ever been on!! 2.24.11
