 as a birthday present, mr. big got me some new art supplies, knowing that i love art! so i got inspired to paint something, so i went to Michael's to get a new canvas (since i used the ones he got me back in october!)

Just in Case we Didn't get Enough Snow

 I guess the snow gets thirsty too!! Lol, this is just silly! I thought my day would be ruined cuz we got more snow just after all the old snow melted, then I saw this! 2.21.11

46 Street train station on the M/R line. This is my stop for work, and being that this will be my last week at work, i decided to pay homage. Hands down the best job ever! I'll kinda miss working for my boss, but I am endlessly thankful for the opportunity! 2.22.11

so after a fun filled day window shopping while completely freezing our tushes, we finally made it to the train station, and this is what i saw. it is definitely time for the warm sun in Florida. i am wayyy over this old! 2.12.11

valentine's day in times square, with someone i never expected. to that someone, thank you for everything, you made something special out of that night, and i will never forget it. 2.14.11

i have said it once, and i will say it again; God always has a way of putting a smile on your face when it is needed. so after being stood up by the guy i love, i was feeling low and ready to give up on everything when i got this picture. not only is it a sunset (my favorite) but my daddy sent it to me. and that is when i realized that i am not where i am supposed to be. i love you dad. 2.15.11

Central Park, Beer, Cold, Snow

Ummm, the grey line again?? idk.. but sunday was the warmest day in a long time at a whopping 43degrees, so i went out and took advantage of the weather and headed out to take some pictures with my 35mm! i took this picture on my phone on my way out of the park. it was soo pretty, i can't wait to see the prints! 2.6.11

so, drink beer much? and i want to give the men in this building the benefit of the doubt and say, it was super bowl weekend, which explains the excessive amount of beer, but, i did not see one of these cases at our super bowl "gathering" and the sad part is, this is just the beginning of the collection, i've seen it stand taller then me against the wall... 2.7.11

the snow is finally starting to melt, so you can catch little ice sculptures like this throughout the city! i thought it was a fire hydrant under all that snow at first, but after i took the picture, i kicked the ice, knocking it over! no fire hydrant! 2.9.11

Ride With Me?

anyone wanna go for a ride later?? lol, i was talkin to my dad, and he told me he had heard on the news that there were cars that are completely covered in ice and snow here in the city, and i told him that there definitely was, and like two seconds later i passed by this car! so i took a picture and sent it to him as soon as we got off the phone! mother nature is unreal! 2.4.11

Jamaican Boy Toy

this was my date for the night!:) he kept me up almost all night, and had me awake bright and early this morning! he is jus the cutest thing, and i love his smile... makes me want one sometimes, until he woke me up at 7:30 this morning! lol, but i love, best date i've had in a while!:) 2.5.11

Organic

so everyone know's that organic is pretty much the safest choice for foods these days, so i decided to try something organic myself. i keep seeing this milk when i buy my weekly gorceries for the the office, and every morning when i am eating my pop-tart, i think to myslef... hmm, some milk would go perfect with this! so this morning, i was looking at the milk, and wondering what is so special about "organic" anything, so i picked up an individual size box, almost like a juice box size, just a little bigger. lo and behold, the milk is pretty good, a little different the regualr milk, but definitely better then that 1 and 2% stuff they sell! 2.3.11

Rain. Snow. Ice.

this winter has been pretty intense so far. i guess we complained enough about the snow, and mother nature decided to spite us and give us ice. it started out with the snow. the top layer of all the snow turned into a sheet of ice, thats my umbrella just standing in the snow/ice. 2.1.11

first of all, i cannot explain the grey line at the bottom of these pictures... so day two, everything is now frozen. i ventured to the outside to see, and this is what i saw.. the sidewalk on the other hand, i quickly came back inside so that i didn't slide all the way down the block. 2.2.11
